Brexit Party weekender - Bolton North East (23rd/24th November 2019)
It's been a busy weekend for the Brexit Party Bolton North East team. Elections are three weeks away and we've been out all weekend.
On Saturday we had our Gazebo up in Tonge Moor, on the corner opposite Bolton Castle pub.
It was a very cold day. We were out from 10 am until 4 pm. Lots of positive reaction from passing traffic and people shouting their support from open windows. Footfall was minimal at times, but as the weather wasn't the best it was too be expected.
I did leave around 12:30 pm as I went out delivering Leaflets and Brexiteer newspapers across Oldham's Estate in Astley Bridge. It was quite fun for me, as I'm an Astley Bridge lad (41 though) - and even I hadn't been across this whole estate before. Some of it, yes, but I discovered new areas I have missed! 😳
I returned around 3 pm to finish off the afternoon at the Gazebo and catching up on all the activity I'd missed.
Oh Sunday our teams were out delivering Leaflets and Brexiteer newspapers across Tonge Moor, Breightmet and Astley Bridge. We all finished at different times but we all felt it was well worth the hours of walking we'd done to support the only parliamentary candidate worth voting for in our constituency. 👍🏻
